2023 HITEC Foundation Mentor
HITEC Foundation Mentor for the 2023-2024 school year. The HITEC Foundation is dedicated to supporting Hispanic students as they pursue a university degree in technology. The HITEC Foundation looks to increase diversity and inclusion in the technology industry, supporting our scholars with financial support, mentorship from industry professionals, and connections to internship opportunities.
Criterios
Develop a trusted mentor/fellow relationship where candid career and professional development conversations can take place
Discuss topics that ultimately help the individual’s educational, career and professional growth journey
Work on actionable professional development and career plans
Establish short, mid and long-term goals, help your scholar to make SMART Goals
Dedicate a minimum of 1-hour/month with your assigned scholar (there should be approximately 7 sessions at minimum).
