2024 HITEC Foundation Committee Member
This individual is a committee member for the HITEC Foundation supporting the Executive Director and team members to advance the mission and vision of the organization. The HITEC Foundation is dedicated to supporting students as they explore and pursue careers in technology. The HITEC Foundation looks to increase diversity and inclusion in the technology industry, supporting our scholars with financial support, mentorship from industry professionals, and connections to internship opportunities.
Criteria
Dedicate a minimum of 1-hour/month working and supporting the HITEC Foundation build and successfully implement new initiatives
It is the responsibility of that committee to oversee and advance the organization’s overall mission.
Work to support HITEC Foundation Scholars to create actionable professional development and career plans
Take action on agenda items. Committees are created to accomplish tasks. It is the responsibility of committee members to read the agenda, understand it, make motions, and then follow through with the resolutions of their actions.
