2017 HITEC Foundation Scholar

HITEC Foundation Scholar for 2017-2018 school year. The HITEC Foundation is dedicated to supporting Hispanic students as they pursue a university degree in technology. The HITEC Foundation looks to increase diversity and inclusion in the technology industry, supporting our scholars with financial support, mentorship from industry professionals, and connections to internship opportunities.

Additional credential information

Criteria

Be of Hispanic/Latinx heritage (i.e., at least one parent must be of Latinx descent)

Be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate or graduate student

Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)

Major (or intend on majoring) in Technology or an approved technology-related major.

Be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident; or be eligible for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.
